hello any suggestions where i can buy kitchen base/wall cabinets?
i have tried ikea but everything i want is out of stock
any other stores i should check out for decent pricing?

Are you looking for used? You can try Market Place on Facebook.

Are you looking to buy cheap? You can try a place like Restore locations from Habitat of the Humanities.

You can try salvage yards as well.


There are ready to assemble cabinets from Weiss located in Queens.

You can also check out Ikea and like stores and check out their show room displays

and finally cabinet manufactures around town or online.....


You can pick up stuff for pennies on the dollar or dig down deep in your pockets.....................Best wishes.

On iKEA if its shows the item is out of stock and not available for delivery can i got to the store to order it?

That being said there have been reported problems in all sorts of interior decorating and furnishing supplies due to covid-19. This includes things like major appliances as well:

One good reason is we simply don't make much in this country anymore. So much is imported that when warehouses run out/inventory dries up places have to wait for next shipment from China or wherever.

Things are so bad even thrift shops and other places like Habitat resale shops are picked clean.

IKEA has a new store in Rego Park, Queens (which just opened yesterday from an article I read somewhere). Perhaps they have what you want in stock.

I have also looked at a bunch of online sites but the shipping is crazy!

Unlikely, they are having production issues due to COVID ofcourse. Was told this a month ago and not much has changed since then...

Aren't you using a contractor to install them? Ask him for suggestions.
