From what I have heard, it apprears that the Skyscraper Museum, Theodore Rossevelt Birthplace National Historic Site, Federal Hall, interior of Grant's Tomb and the Grant's Tomb Visitors Center, Museum of the Moving Image, Neue Galerie, and Museum at FIT have been closed since mid March and have not reopened since, even in about September when COVID-19 cases were at their lowest. Most attractions in New York City were reopened by the start of November, with One World Observatory being the most recent reopening, which took place on November 1. Does anyone know how long it will take until those places that I am referring to will reopen to the public and what type of problems they face that the attractions that have reopened do not have?
Neue Galerie is fairly small and cramped by art museum standards. Some of its stairs are hardly wide enough to let two people pass each other. It would be very hard to make safe.
Federal Hall is in the middle of the FiDi ghost town. With no businesspeople and almost no tourists, who's going to go?

How long will it take until Neue Galerie is reopened? Also, I know that the 102nd floor indoor observation deck of the Empire State Building was reopened in Summer 2020 and is a small space, much smaller than the 86th floor indoor/outdoor observation deck.
I have no insight into when it will be reopened. I would guess after a critical mass of vaccinations has occurred. The Galerie is a smaller operation than many and I expect Ronald Lauder could keep it operating while closed indefinitely.

The Museum of the Moving Image will be reopening on April 30 and the first attraction closed since March to do so since One World Observatory reopened November 1. https://www.qgazette.com/articles/mu...ns-on-may-1st/
