This guy would not be getting deported for jay walking, he would be getting deported for being an illegal alien.

Go back to your country, wait out the 10-year exclusion period for your crime, and get back in line like everyone else who legally comes to America

He shouldn't be deported for jaywalking. He should be deported for being an illegal alien. If the catch an illegal alien jaywalking, there's no reason he shouldn't be deported.
