^^ This is a donut from Chana's bakery in NY but bought at Butterfield's and I think they made that lemon poppy also.
This purple one is inspired by Filipino purple yam cake
If I'm not mistaken Chana's has no retail shop. They supply donuts to Butterflied and do online
The cruller though might not be one of theirs
If you google them you can see their rest of stuff, some with multiple crazy colors
this is the coconut cream at Doughnut Plant, it is big , square and has cream on the inside
It's great
Tres leech, green tea, Maple caramel (?)
You must have the P & J donut from them. Tasty (Not truly peanut butter and jelly as the "jelly" is Blackberry jam). I like their strawberry yeast one as well. They have cake donuts, but the bigger ones are yeast donuts. The wild blueberry donut is my second favorite after the carrot cake donut. For a while I had meetings for work on the Lower East Side and loved it since I had an excuse to pass by their LES location.
OHHHHH!!! I totally forgot about Du's donuts. La Colombe sells them (Bryant Park location). At least they did pre COVID anyway. Dunno about now. Anywho, I LOVE his donuts. Du's donuts has a location in Williamsburg. They're the creation of that Top Chef guy Wiley Dufresne.

It is very tasty. For a while I was hooked on that one. When I am in the City next, I have to stop by and get some. It has been well over a year since I've had a donut from Dough. Whoops. You are talking about the donuts that are at Butterfield. Yes, those look interesting too. Thank God I look with my eyes and not my mouth.
It's been a while since I've been to Dough. They sell excellent products. They are very large and pricey. I've only been to their flatiron location. I didn't realize that they opened more locations. There is also another "premium donut" shop called North Fork Donuts on Long Island if anyone is going out eastward. They are slightly cheaper than Dough.
All of these pics are causing me to have a donut craving. That lemon poppy one looks ...yummy.
As I'm looking down at my toast and cereal. That is my usual breakfast.

Yeah next time I'm in the city I just may get that lemon poppy donut, looks serious
Wish Dunkin Donuts served flavors like that since they're only across the street from me
