Looking to switch providers. What service do you use and how do you find the service in NYC?
Most import thing to me is service in my apartment. I lived in apartments in Manhattan where I couldn't get service before and had to switch.
I'm curious if any of the cheap plans are any good.
Metro PCS for the past 13 years. Have gone on many road trips. Never had any issues. Now with it being owned by T-MOBILE there should be even better reception.
$50 unlimited everything! no taxes. $50 and thats it!
T-Mobile had a good promo in July. Dont know if its still on.
Before that, it was BoostMobile. BoostMobile ran on the Sprint network (which had the best nationwide coverage at the time I initially went with BoostMobile), and I paid $40 a month (pre-pay plan) with unlimited talk text and data - but data was tethered after only 1 or 2G of use.
T-mobile bought Sprint and BoostMobile, but I think had to sell Boost. The rumor is that the Dish Network now owns Boost.
Thanks all. I started with WorldCom, then that turned to Verizon then I went to cingular, then that turned to AT&t and then I went to Sprint. So deciding where to go next.
