Hey guys,
Thanks to talking with you and talking with guys of Atlanta. I am starting to realize that one of the reasons why casual dating in NYC is easier is that there's a lot of young people there and there's more women than men. Meanwhile, these two conditions are not met in other cities. For instance, Miami seems to have a large demographic of retires and seniors hence this changes the culture. While on the surface its a "party spot" its only on the weekends and during the week there's more of older folks who live there and have goals priorities.
I mean, yeah. My general consensus is that nightlife in Manhattan skews 30s while Bushwick/Williamsburg is more 20s. Greenpoint is an interesting mix.
Tokyo, particularly Shibuya-ku, I find is more 20s until you get to Ginza or maybe Kabukicho. Love hotels help, being able to drink outside helps, 24/7 bars/restaurants/clubs helps. Osaka is dank and has a bit of a Yakuza presence. Sapporo is awesome, but I'd probably say 30s?
London... seemed corporate? Maybe one day I'll understand the nightlife, but the 'gayborhood' was filled with people who work in finance, tech, etc. in high positions. Diluted maybe is the word I'm looking for there. I didn't find it fun at 27 nor 28 though. People seemed to just stick to their own. Should have gone to Amsterdam, but what can ya do when your company is in the UK.
Galway is fun, Teipei is fun. Can't put a number or generalization on it though.
Has anyone checked to see if "nobodysbusiness" is still an active account?
I'm asking for a friend.....
