The majority of young transplants living in EV do not understand to protect the doors from suspicious people who slither into your building. You almost cannot even bring safety topics up with a lot of young transplants with no street smarts.
The perp looks a lot like one of the many thousands of bike delivery riders in EV. There must be at least 5000 bike delivery riders in EV riding around using stolen Social Security Numbers, and thousands more construction workers and thousands more tradesmen in EV using stolen SSN’s.
If a person is trying to kill you, esp a bigger and stronger one or they are armed the situation is already as bad as it gets.
A severe wound could give enough time to ESCAPE. though.
However, they will most certainly testify against you and good luck proving your self defense case when there is a witness testimony from a "victim" against you, especially in NYC courts, with their own version of events.
Also, a lot of the time (probably majority of the time to be honest), a man would still overpower a woman even if she is armed with a small NYC-legal knife.
A gun is a lot more reliable and is a great equalizer.
Public guillotine executions used to be the great equalizer. Why can’t we bring that back?
??? They were not. Your premise is flawed. The main purpose was spectacle.
A gun is a great equalizer when it comes to physical strength of different parties. It is a great self-defense tool for the weak and defenseless.
Ha, good point because I have never seen a guillotine in action before but I could imagine the sheriff would bring a chain gang of prisoners to the events so they had to watch and listen to it all. Eventually word would get passed around the crime community that the guillotine means business.
I wonder, were guillotine ever part of the history of the city?
