I am renting a bedroom for 900$ in this area. How is it ? best food options ? safety ? Thanks guys.


I am paying 700 in NJ but the traffic , wait times for bus, and boringness of is really affecting me. How is parking here ?

UPDATE : Its not too bad .

Pro : This is local NYC and its great to experience Local NYC. Alot of old timers with roots in the
neighborhood. Many food options with local flair. Alot of street fashion and great characters
always on the Ave. Alot of friendly neighbors who all say Hi to each other and know each other
Very Central to Manhattan with access to 2/3 Trains and D/A train is a 10 minute walk.

Cons: Lenox does not have much there other than a few food spots & mostly Delis for sandwiches.
The area at times can seem "dull" as there is not much on Lenox.

I learned in NYC is all about location and this location is pretty central.
