Reminds me of the bodega worker in Manhattan a few months ago. Self defense is dangerous in New York it seems.

I'd agree. When you look at Citizen app at 2am any day of the week, every inch of the city will be littered with dots of criminality taking place with two exceptions: most of south shore staten island along with most of NE Queens. The only 2 areas any prospective family should consider raising kids if you insist on living in the boroughs.
