The mandates can be struck down but I doubt anyone will receive any compensation. Public health emergency proclamations shield municipalities from litigation related to the emergency (which is why they are called).
It is just a “in hind sight” scenario. No judge will find that the city set out to harm anyone or acted maliciously. BTW, there are cases claiming that the city didn’t go far enough in protecting the public.
I am utterly surprised nobody else connects the dots between the mandates and the millions of types of people connected to mayor adams migrant industry, the tent city people. To me it is clearly the primary reason.
In the past few years there are at least 2 million new people in nyc that are of the adams tent city variety. They never skipped a beat. They all have jobs. They all traveled here without any vaccine requirements, and most of them came here in an entirely blatantly illegal fashion breaking numerous laws repeatedly. Meanwhile everyone else in the world was subjected to the mandates, adams tent city industry was not. Even if the tent industry folks committed big crimes in nyc and were caught, still, they were oddly unscathed by the mandates. Plenty of jobs for them working under the table, meanwhile, we were all sitting at home waiting month after month.
The mandates were never about our workers. It was about adams tent city industrY variety of workers - replacing us.
I’m “fully vaccinated” and was injured with the second shot. Within 15 minutes of receiving it, the left side of my body went numb and my legs were tingling from the knees down. I did not recover until 9 months later. No one in the medical community knows what happened. I had a string of exams including MRIs and other scans but nothing wrong was found. So in my opinion, the mRNA vax is a modern day poison being treated with 20th century medicine. Anyways, now I’m expected to get a booster but will be submitting another medical exemption. So for some of us, the removal of this oppressive mandate is a must.

I would bring a few crisp $100 bills and bribe the technician. If they say no, show them a couple more crisp hundreds. Anything but the shots.
I do not think they are a “vaccine” or a “drug”. They are a tool for killing people. Like a deceitful poison of some kind, but not a drug per se.
I am the only non vaxxed person that i know of in nyc. I am scared to admit to people in nyc that i did not get it.
There was one women i met online in the city who said she was non vaxxed, she was retired and had enough money to live, but we never exchanged contact information.

My mother lives in NYC and is not vaccinated. For a while, she was very afraid up to the point of anxiety that the city will take away her retirement if she didn’t get vaccinated. But that never happened and so she remains unvaxxed. (Thank God!).
As for the booster, yes my employer still mandates for one to be fully vaccinated and boosted. But thanks for the suggestion with the $$$. The problem is that one risks for the technician to tell on you if they reject your bribe
The technician would be bold faced liar then. You felt queazy around needles and accidentally dropped a wad of cash there and the technician is a bold faced liar. Then you just find a different cvs pharmacy without a liar for a technician like that.
So few people know what it is and was like being Non Vaxxed in NYC.
