“It appears that they were just handing out the food for free.”
“I know, I know, it’s probably a big inconvenience for those on the subway who are just trying to get from point A to point B with zero social interaction, but you have to respect that these people’s hearts are in the right place.“
“Here we have a video of some good Samaritans who decided to put a whole dinner table in the middle of a subway train, and it’s filled with several of our favorite Thanksgiving dishes.“
I thought this was going to be some annoying Instagram influencers making a stunt for their personal gain, so it's nice to see it was a formerly homeless woman from East NY just doing something to bring a ray of sunshine to people's lives.
I;m not sure why she thought she needed to do it in a train car, that part is not great, but at least she's not some influencer (that I know of)

Train cars are where homeless congregate and sleep. So it makes sense to go where they are located. I wonder if any of them had psychotic episodes when they saw the food and imagined they were hallucinating.
I saw this prior to this thread and it is a bit ridiculous. There are soup kitchens where the homeless can go get a Thanksgiving meal if this is the purpose of this stunt.
I saw this throughout social media and on some news sites and thought it was really weird lol. Although the gesture was a good one. I think if they handed out boxed meals, instead of literally having a Thanksgiving buffet table in the middle of the train, it would have been better.

So you're saying she is some influencer or wannabe influencer?
Guess I missed the link to her IG and Tiktok.
