He was let out on bail while facing charges for attempted murder of a police officer. Now two black men are dead because he was let out. How is bail reform helping the black community again? And why is the black community still overwhelmingly voting for the Democrat Party?

I thought the bail reform was about eliminating money bail for certain crimes. In your case, the dude posted bail and waited for a trial. Is there another part to bail reform you can tell me about?

Tell you about what? He shouldn’t even have been eligible for bail. Attempted murder of police officers is about as serious of a crime as there is short of successfully murdering one. I didn’t think I even needed to explain something so simple that any simpleton should have understood.

I mean you’ve said that it has something to do with the bail reform, so I asked you to explain what’s the connection of this incident to the bail reform. Most people discuss the reform in the context of monetary bail, which was removed for certain offenses - misdemeanors and the like.

So instead of calling me a simpleton, engage honestly yourself. Stick to ideas instead of attacking. That’s what the forum is about.

Agreed. 3 down and forfeited bail money. Sounds like society won big.

Almost . This specimen has to be housed for life. And that is costly.

Did you watch the video? Instead of being lazy and have me spoon feed you, you can watch the video and find out for yourself. Unless it is a valued added discussion, why derail a thread just to ask for info that is already available in the link?

Nevertheless, I find it strange you don’t even understand that bail reform has allowed this offender to be released on a very low bail despite the very serious charge of attempted murder of police officers, which before bail reform, would have kept him in jail and thus preventing him from killing two men while he was out.

Sadly, he is is housed for life even outside of jail too. No way his sorry aass is able to afford to live here without government help (via our tax dollars). But yes, you are right, keeping him in jail for life costs exponentially more.

The best option was to not have his worthless life be brought into this world in the first place.
