It would serve the waterfronts throughout the 5 boroughs and connect underserved neighborhoods to other underserved neighborhoods

For example imagine living in Rosedale, Queens and being able to take a light rail along the belt parkway to go Coney Island. Don’t have to sit in traffic or travel to Jamaica to take the train?

Rich prefer to travel by Escalades and we don’t build anything for the poor in this country. NYC subway is the most that you get,

The people in Rosedale seem cozy but I don’t think they are cozy enough to drive Escalades frequently

Except the rich in NYC heavily use the NYC subway as much as the poor. The richest parts of the city that have the highest property values are those within close walking distance of a station. Yeah there are exceptions if the school districts.

Light rail would ONLY work on big avenues like Queens Boulevard, Flatbush Avenue, Grand Concourse, Woodhaven Blvd, Cross-Bay Blvd, and Metropolitan Avenue. You would to eliminate some of the bus routes to make it happen.

I am in favor of it, as it will get rid of trash people that drive and will make the city more European.

There used to be a proposal for a light rail along Brooklyn waterfront from Red Hook to LIC.

Hudson-Bergen Rail. Well they use the honor system. So yes, virtually unless you get caught.
