What queens needs is something non casino ,non sports!!!

Hows about some trades schools,Vocational HS,3 floor apartment buildings ,aka garden apartments. So much need for housing in Overcrowded Corona and Flushing!!!! A damn Mitchell Llama like Big Six in Woodside.

A sports arena for youth athletics,or to rent out for special occasions like graduation ceremonies,etc...

Leave a lasting legacy For the Real working class NYERS.

Native American casinos bring in more money than the entire Las Vegas strip, and they pay no state or federal taxes on their income, either.

It's incredible that people still think a casino will be "beneficial" for the area. Granted, Foxwoods doesn't pay taxes to benefit the area one inch outside of their tribal lands, but the areas around casinos never thrive. The areas around both Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun are working class ghettos. Atlantic City and Las Vegas, the Sodom and Gomora of today, are crime-ridden hellholes.

Knowing what you know about NYC, do you really think the "tax revenues" of ripping off poor people is going to benefit the area? Or will they just use it to convert another old folks home into a migrant shelter and give the MTA more money to hand out fake disability pensions?
