Last week, a group of taxi and for-hire vehicle drivers staged a protest outside Ms. Hochul’s office and sent a letter demanding exemptions to the tolls.
It's crazy to think how much taxi medallions were worth 10-15 years ago. Ride Share apps hurt, and this will do more harm to that industry. I only hope the money collected is used constructively.

Money should only go to transit maintenance and expansion. No more highways.

If it doesn't the death penalty should be brought back against pro-highway politicians.

So sad.
Another harsh tax on the middle class that will benefit them minimally.

No one can force the MTA to be conservative with their costs.
No one.

Middle class doesn’t go to Manhattan to hang out. They go there to work.
Only people in the city are the tourists, Rich and deranged for the most part. Oh and the young crowd figuring out where to move after they mature from college.

Massive civil disobedience.

Everyone remove their license plates, they can’t pull everyone over. Organize a Go Fund Me for the few they do ticket. Pretty simple really. Become ungovernable.

On the other hand I do love to see the Dems stick it to the poor and middle class.

Who knew, 70's and 80's were the golden era of NYC after all.
No police cameras, less laws, less chain stores.
