With the cold weather we are having for the next week be prepared for a lot of people camped out on the trains and stations. I saw at least a dozen on my train trip today.

It is illegal to sleep in the subways.

Houseless should be removed from our subway systems and placed in
any of the New York City camps or shelters thruout the 5 boroughs.

The fact that helping to shelter is failing miserably
only suggests that enough is not being done to fix this problem.

The E train is the most popular for sleeping in the cold because it never goes outdoors. At least that's what someone told me so I try to avoid the E train

The 'E' has always been a favorite of the homeless for that reason going back to the 1980s. The old 'AA' 8th Avenue local when it existed was also a favorite of the homeless for the same reason. The 'R' is also a totally underground route, does it have a homeless problem too?

And the sky will always be grey and the east river water green here in NYC.
