Grr... what are our mindless local reps doing?

Foster Ave. just got parking meters up and down the street, but we still have NO trash cans on the entire avenue except for one never-emptied green tub on Coney Island Ave.

Epic fail x2.

Well, when 60% of the population decides not to vote, it shouldn't be surprising that we end up with mindless representatives.

For the specific problem on Foster Avenue, do an end-around the politicians and make your complaint directly to the Department of Sanitation. (I had a similar complaint about a section of Kings Highway some years ago, and not one of my friendly local representatives seemed to be able to get anything done. Sanit took care of things.)

well what do you expect the parking meters generate revenue, unlike the trash cans which is only a quality of life issue and then we wonder why we have a somewhat of a rat population, if only the city would do its share.
