Hello all!

So grateful for this site and everyone's sharing of information!

I'm currently in the interview/selection process for an affordable housing 80/20 building. We have submitted all requested documentation and are now waiting. I recently got an email that they ran my credit/background check. Does anyone know if this is an indicator that Im moving along in the process or do they run a credit check on everyone once all documentation was provided? Just holding out hope. Thanks!

They tend to check credit if it appears you are otherwise eligible. I.e with your incomes etc. running credit is the next step. Some developments do it sooner than later.

Thank you so much! I appreciate the response. I'm self employed so the income eligibility could tip in either direction depending on what method of calculation they use. Just wondered if credit check meant I seem to qualify otherwise. Thanks again
