Anyways I love that I don't NEED a car to get around. As annoying it is to ride the subway I love that I can go from to the most northern part of the bronx to the most southern part of brooklyn on just $2. You can get to most parts of NYC on mass transit.

I love the people!!! We are so diverse and New York is truly a melting pot. People always talk about how rude New Yorkers are but you get that anywhere. I recently had attended a Bachelorette party in which we had to walk from one bar to another and although we had fun in the bars, we had more fun walking through the streets because people were willing to do everything and anything we put them up to. We were walking through the streets asking for piggy back rides and dances (scavenger hunt) and people did it glady. New Yorkers are SOOOOO MUCH FUN!!!
Oh yeah, and there is nothing like partying here, have been everywhere and no one throws down like us. lol...

I love that you can walk on the streets, love West Village and Upper West Side. Love central park, great food, so many choices, whatever you are in to, you will find it here. I love Long Island-going to the beach in the summer, going to the mountains to hike in upstate NY. Love that there is a big russian community, and i can buy russian food, see russian movies, love that there are people from all over the world here. You are learning something new every day. I also love the job opportunities in my field.
Also, if you are single-it is the best place to be, so many hot people to hook up with!

Hmm... people already hit most of it.
1. You don't need a car 'cause transit is good and you can walk to do everything.
2. It's diverse. Everybody's from somewhere else.
3. Transit runs 24 hours, diners and grocery stores are open 24 hours, bars close at 4am, streets are vibrant until late in the night.
4. The women are beautiful.
5. Despite being in the biggest city in the country, you're not too far from a wide range of natural getaways: the Jersey Shore, Long Island, the Catskills, the Poconos, New England.
6. You get four seasons. Although people like to complain about the humid summers and cold winters, I wouldn't have it any other way.
7. Central Park. Other small parks too where you can go just to hang out and people-watch. Also the parks have free events like performances from the NY Philharmonic.
8. $6 Halal chicken and rice street vendors.

My reasons would just echo ones already stated, but above all else, I love the fact that I don't need a car.

I love that NYC is truly urban. You really don't need a car to get around and that criterion alone is exclusive of 99.9% of this country's built environment.
