Cali transplant here! I would suggest you stop by Standings Bar on 7th and 2nd (E. Village), it's a cool little dive and the owners are from Cali, and there tends to be a cali crowd there.

I second the Standings recommendation, with one minor correction. Gary (the owner) is from Connecticut, not Cali
But a lot of the regulars are. For some reason a lot of the bartenders seem to be from Chicago-land.

Oh yeah it was the bartender who was from California...or so I think. As a Cal alum it is nice knowing there is a place that will have my college's games on many screens (with free pizza on game days).
