I went to park my car yesterday (Sunday) night ~9PM when I saw this sign. I stood there for a good three minutes reading it over and over, and wound up with a crowd of 3-4 people going over it with me.
It's after 7pm on a Sunday, so the rule stands...but as of midnight, it's not Sunday, so the rule doesn't stand. So did the rule end at 7AM on Sunday morning, and no longer applies Sunday night? Or does the rule apply twice on Sunday, in the evening and in the morning. and if that's the case, when does the rule start. Thurs in the morning, or Wed at night?

Wow, that's odd, I copied this from an email I sent, and the beginning with the details are missing.

Anyway, the sign said, "No parking 7PM-7AM" Thursday - Sunday"

I see your point.
And it is also just a strange sign for the hours and days. Would make more sense to me if it said No parking 7AM to 7 PM.Don't really get the Thurs -Sunday bit either.

My assumption would be that there was no parking from 7PM Thurs to 7AM on Friday,7PM Fri to 7AM Sat, 7PM on Sat to 7 AM on Sunday and from 7 PM Sunday to 7 AM on Monday.

But I am not sure.

What did you and the crowd think ? Did you get a ticket ?

The crowd seemed to decide that the regulation ended at 7AM on Sunday, and did not apply Sunday night (however this still raises the issue of when the regulation starts). One woman said that she had parked there before without an issue, so I decided to go for it.

I went back today ~1530 to move it and no ticket, so either our logic was right, or I was just lucky.

I would've just not parked there between Thursday night and Sunday morning to save myself the unnecessary complications, lol.

from 7PM Thursday............till 7:01AM Sunday.
and probably the sign is in error
