Hi, I'm going to be looking for parking on Friday morning of this week around 72nd St & Central Park. I'm meeting someone at the bandshell so I think the East Side would be better but I could probably do the West Side as well. What are my chances of finding street parking in this area? Would East Side be better than West Side or vice versa? Should I just forget about street parking and use a garage? I'll have a toddler & an infant with me so need to be fairly close to the park. Thanks in advance!

You'll most likely be better off using a garage. There's alternate side of the street parking and around that area there are blocked off areas for embassies, etc.
