info on 14th Street Path Station (train, transit, rain)

I went from 33rd street to 14th street on path, but now when i had to go back up the 33rd street i was lost.

I went back on the station but its new jersey only. I asked someone they told me to go to the station across the street. but that station all i saw was new york city transit train, nothing about PATH. So finally i took train down to new jersey, got off on the 9th street and went back up to 33rd street. Did i miss something here ???

The uptown and downtown Path trains at 14th st are across the street from each other.

You probably just couldn't find the entrance to the uptown side (it's just south of the Urban Outfitters on 14th and 6th). The subway station there doesn't have particularly good signage.

i saw the sign saying uptown, but i thought it was for nyc transit, was that it ?

Possibly. But there's access to the PATH station from the NYCT mezzanine level.

Were you trying to travel to NJ or just within NYC? If you were only going within NYC you could just used the subway.
