Apologies if these questions have already been asked, but I 'm new here. There is a VERY good chance that I will be relocating to NYC within the next 3 months or so and I have a couple questions:
Can a married couple survive off of 150K - 175K a year?
Where would be a good place to live in Manhattan? (Work would be near Gramercy Park area.)
That's all I have now...any help would be greatly appreciated.
That's plenty of money. Take a look at the sticky at the top of the board entitled, 'Need info on moving to NYC.' Gramercy is fine, and there are LOTS of nice areas in Manhattan (as well as in other boroughs).
check out the upper west side. lots of young couples and families there.
