safety of Lawrence gardens apts in Brooklyn? (apartment, rent)

Does anyone have any info about Lawrence Gardens apts @ 3301 Nostrand Ave? its 10min away from where ill be attending grad school, which is a plus and rent seems far; however ive searched and was unable to find any reviews about the property good or bad. Can anyone shed some light? previous or current residents, safety of the neighborhood, Im Irish and Black how diverse is the area, etc. Im from Pennsylvania and moving to Brooklyn, so any and all comments from natives are helpful. Well, I don't know anything about the property, but since no one else responded... that is Sheepshead Bay, or Marine Park, no? Nice neighborhoods.

I live about 2 blocks away and actually looking at an apartment in that same building on Sunday. The area is safe and has a diverse ethnic population.
