I liked couple of places around Bellerose, Floral Park and New Hyde Park for renting. Do they fall in NYC, Specifically Do I have to pay the NYC income tax ?

Floral Park Village is actually an Incorporated Village located in Nassau. Floral Park is divided into a few sections some which are Queens .

there are multiple places called bellerose making it confusing

Is there a way you put the address of floral park and know whether it falls in NYC or not ?

If you google the address and it's in Queens, you'll find results for that address that will say it's in Queens.

A quick way of knowing is if the Floral Park address has a street number like 260th street and 81st avenue (meaning numbered streets near those numbers), it's very likely in Queens. If the street has a name instead of a number like Cherry Lane, it's very likely in Nassau. I'm sure there are exceptions but that's a guide. For example, Hillside Avenue is a named street but if the address is near a numbered street like 260th, it's Queens.

New Hyde Park would be the only one completely outside city limits.

That's not true. There is a small area in Queens that has a New Hyde Park address near the Queens/Nassau border.

Really? Wouldn't that be considered Glen Oaks or something?

Bellerose is Queens. So is Glen Oaks. I am sure there is no area in Queens with a New Hyde Park address. Floral Park is partially in Queens.

You may be sure there is no area in Queens with a New Hyde Park address but you are 100% wrong. I've lived in New Hyde Park, Queens for decades. It's only a few blocks but it is most definitely New Hyde Park and it's in Queens.
