I was at orientation yesterday (8/16) and the lady who spoke to us, who's the one in charge of getting everyone into the classes, said that the 9/12 class is closed. Most of us at the orientation were number 11** and basically we were told that we will have a good chance of getting into oct/nov class. The first cdl class is also closed. Next cdl class begins on the 9/12.
How is that. My number is Very Very low 700... I have not been called for final processing... If the september class is closed than the most many people are screwed... The last number appointed was 640 somthing...

That statement only applies to kris and the people who attended the orientation on 8/16. Their numbers are higher than ours so I guess they wanted to tell them where they stand in terms of making the first, second, or third class.I'm not sure what list numbers went today.
Just called hr... They said they havent called anyone for Final processing yet... They will start calling on the 25th...
That's what I thought, that the Sept class was only closed to people going down to the pre right now. I bet that's the day after the last pre orientation, I thought I remember reading someone was going down on the 24th. Thats the city for ya, they can't do two things on one day. lol
I left the ones they gave us at work; however, call this number
(646) 885-0900 and ask for recruiting....
I called and they transfered me to an answering machine lol. Last time i called the older woman deputy scolded me for calling the main line and told me to call the numbers posted in orientation ! So if anyone has them post them up
