What do people actually mean when they say that Clinton Hill is a up and coming neighborhood? Just want to know from anyone from Brooklyn or Clinton Hill.

I wouldn't say that it's just now up and coming. It has been since the early '90s. I think a broader group of people have come to recognize it recently. I was walking around CH yesterday and it has some nice housing stock.

Clinton Hill is not up and coming....it's already there.

However, BedStuy, Bushwick and CrownHeights are up and coming neighborhoods. You can tell the difference when you walk in the neighborhoods. There's a big difference between Clinton Hill and these neighborhoods. Maybe take a walk around and see what you notice.

Absolutely. I took a nice walk up Franklin Avenue from Eastern Parkway and was very surprised at the change in Crown Heights. I hadn't been around there in about 5 years.
