How come New York's driver licence are like paper? Compared to other states which has hard plastic.
I work in retail, and I've seen so many driver licence in other states and Canadian provinces that they all have hard plastic, but New York's are cheap paper/plastic that could break
What?
My license is a flexible plastic that doesn't break or rip ... unlike hard plastic cards that can crack or have information rubbed off over time.
Exactly the opposite, m'dear- NY licenses are textured plastic/rubber <--- something synthetic, for sure. lol - I stick mine in my back pocket and it's so safely bendable that I've rolled mine up tight before, just to see if I could!
Yep - much sturdier than any other license i've been issues ..... i still remember getting carded out of state and the bar tender was fascinated by it (thought it fake at first......)
she folded it in half and then it sprung back flat and snapped out of her hands going airborne down the bar
