It seems an eclectic selection of food/beverage is the primary basis for choosing what hey did. Remembering what North Charleston was I really find it hard to envision as a hip enclave and Port Angeles is a paper mill town (think Officer and a Gentleman) that smells of paper mills. Once you smell a paper mill you'll never forget it.

Out of the entire island, they chose Freeport? Their next issue will rate Caracas as one of the best cities to send your kid to summer camp.

Freeport has the nautical mile. That seems to be the only criteria for coolness. I would not put this on any list ( Know the town well)
