*the title of this thread should be "LAZ" not "Lazy"

Hi everyone, just had a quick question about resident parking permits. I'm a Beacon NY resident, and I recently got a parking permit, that very clearly says "Resident Permit". However, after getting a parking ticket and speaking to a police officer, I was told that my permit was not the correct one. My permit is small, maybe 4 inches by 3 inches. The officer told me that a resident parking is larger than this. Very confused as to what a resident parking permit is, because that's what I applied, and paid for.

So finally my question. What does a resident permit look like?

Thanks!
