Nissan/Infiniti News Room (http://www.nissannews.com/newsrelease.do?id=435&mid=171 - broken link)
It says it has a turbo powered 2.5L turbo engine. With this power, if put in production, could this be a new 240SX, possibly as a 250SX, or would it be bbetter as a 200SX?

If it's FWD, it would basically be a rehash of the Sentra SE-R/200SX SE-R. It would be more of a competitor to the 2.0T VW GTI and the K20A-equipped Civic Si. Nissan hasn't had a FWD that compares to either of these cars on the US shores for ages.

If it's RWD, it could certainly be a new 240SX. And we'd finally be getting a sweet engine from the factory, since the KA24E/DE was sort of a lump. With Toyota's plans to make a "new AE86" powered by a Subie flat-4 turbo, they would be poised to go head-to-head with one another, and I'd kindly volunteer my services to test the two at the track.

This said: what a dull-looking concept car. Honestly, I think that this thing looks about as exciting as, well, a Versa coupe... because that's what it looks like.

It looks a bit like the Versa and Altime Coupe combined. Doesn't look very sexy at this point, I prefer the looks of the FT-86 by a wide margin.
