Fellow forum members,
I am looking at early 2000-2004 Infiniti I series. I was looking at Maximas and had previously owned two, however I wanted something more luxurious. I know in 2000 and 2001 they had the I30 with the 3.0 V6. Then in 2002-2004 they had the 3.5 V6. I don't see a whole deal of differences. Has anyone personally driven both cars for some amount of time?
I appreciate any input that relates to the thread.
The I35 is a very nice car. I owned one about 5yrs ago and if not for it being hit while parked I would have still had it. Very smooth and powerful with a nice plush interior. I have also owned an 04 Maxima and an 03 G35x sedan. I prefered the ride on the I35 over the maxima and g35.

Thanks for the reply! Funny thing is both cost the same to insure which had surprised me.
A friend wanted an I30 two years and kept looking for a nice one for quite a while. For some reason each one that we came across was trashed and in poor shape compared to the contemporary Maxima.
Next time I'm up visiting the Mustard Museum and Capital Brewing I'll call you to do chauffeur duty. Particularly after the latter visit.
Lol. Was just at Capital last Sunday, had the autumnal fire, which was pretty good. Thanks for the compliment on the car. The window tint really finishes the car.
