Not sure if the Altima uses the same brake pads/rotors as my 2012 Rogue, but I just had all my pads and rotors changed for $310. Parts and labor.

Ordered the pads and rotors from partsgeek.com.

First off its Brakes and not Breaks !!!!

Parts and labor depending on the type of parts being used and who's doing the work will be in the area of $450.00 !!!

Doing it yourself...or paying someone? Keep in mind a lot of garages won't installed parts supplied by a customer.

Looking at prices on Rockauto.com...
Front rear pads (middle grade) about $20 for front and $20 for rear
Rotors (middle grade) about $50 for the front and $40ish for the rear.

So full job front and rear NEW rotors plus pads about $250 in parts if you did it yourself. There are cheaper parts, there are more expensive parts.

If you go to a shop, it's usually about $200-400 per axle, so a full job could be anywhere from $400-800 depending on if the shop resurfaces or replaces the rotors.

Most recently when I had that done on my Volvo it was around $650 for all 4 pads/rotors. On my VW I paid around $450 for front, $450 for back last time (back wears out twice as fast as front on my VW).

Check your math. Materials is about $130 if you did it your self. You will get a pair when you order them.

I meant to say that was price for each rotor for middle tier.

So $100 front, $80 rear for the pair of rotors. Plus $40ish in pads for front and rear. Throw in some caliper lube, brake cleaner and other misc items and about $250ish for non-bottom tier parts

You shouldn't need to do the rears yet... Unless you rack up miles really fast.
Anyway, when I had my '08, I used to buy sets of pads for about $30/axle. If the rotors looked good (more often than not, they did) I kept them. If they looked rough, I got them machined. A machine shop can do this for maybe $10...
Total, at most $50/axle.
