They would either see you as gay or you'd be very firmly placed in the friend zone where you'd be expected to stay. A lot of girls like having guy friends like that so I don't think many of the girls would object.

Even a gay man can't insert himself into the in crowd sorority girls unless he is financially and socially their equal. Some fluffy trailer trash dude is not going to be allowed to sit with them.

No type of man, girly or other wise, gets to join the group without an invitation. That applies to the other women, too. Unless you are a social equal (or maybe the quarterback of the school football team), forget it.

Not true, all women secretly want a gay best friend like Carrie's buddy on SATC. But he would have to be charming and funny, not shy or timid.

I actually dated a couple of the girls I used to hang around, but then I was in my teens back then and the 80s was a different time.

Also, through the years into my 30s a lot of women I became close friends with developed more than friendly feelings for me, but I think it was mostly because they sensed I fell (platonically) in love with them (for some reason I do too easily) and they decided to act upon what they mistakenly sensed as sexual love.
