What exactly did they think they were going to get getting a condo where someone was above them? DER! Ya get what ya pay for! Ya pay for a bottom floor, ya get foot traffic above you. Your neighbor needs to pull her big girl panties on and deal!

Wonder what it's like when they stay at a hotel and people walk above them.

Take note of everything you've done to appease them. Save receipts for everything you've purchased...padding, new chair, rugs, whatever expense you coughed up in your effort to sound proof the floors. That way, if you have to speak to the co-op board you can provide proof that you've made an effort to work with them. You shouldn't have to walk on eggshells in your own home.
