Hi! I am from Pennsylvania and never got my license there. My boyfriend drove a car owned/insured by my stepdad and registered in PA down for me to drive once I got my license when I moved here. Little did I know I would have to jump through so many hoops!
I can't get a licence without insurance, and can't get insurance without a car registered in NC, correct? And I need a license to register a car! I don't really know what I can do... it feels like I'm stuck.
Maybe I'm missing something here, someone help! Thanks

You can get insurance without a car. Call your agent, tell them you don't have a car but would like to be able to drive your bf's from time to time. That will get the process started.

You can definitely get insurance first, don't need to have a car to get insurance and agents in NC are well versed in the process. Shop around for a good quote, not all insurances are created equal.
