Default too many people heading there?

Hello all. I live in Baton Rouge and was speaking to a friend of mine who lives in Florida and they are thinking about moving to North or South Carolina. I was just wondering, it seems everyone I meet or knew (esp in Fl) were moving to the Carolinas becasue they are trying to escape the traffic, the rude people, the illegal immigrants from Mexico, the hurricanes. I was just wondering, how do you feel about all the people heading your way?

I'd wait till late next year to move, if not 2009.

I went out in June and have been watching a home in Scotts Mill for $400K.

The price had already been lowered once.

The home had a 60 day contingency on it that just expired and the homeowner has relisted with another agent for $10k less.

There's a ton of homes in NC and the builders are overstocked as well.

Heck, Dell Webb is even offering incentives!

Plus, cash rich folks in other states like CA can't sell their homes for trying so who's going to buy these new and existing homes?

Check out REALTOR.com - Real Estate Listings & Homes For Sale and watch how long homes sit in NC.

Don't be hasty!
