My boyfriend and I are planning to move to NC in May after I graduate from nursing school. We have no idea where to begin. I need to find where the to find the best RN opportunities in good hospitals. He needs to look for a decent labor job, then plans on going to a trade school. We don't have much money to play with, so we want to start off renting a house or townhouse a couple of hours from the beaches. We have no children, so school systems play no part. We are going to travel to NC when I'm on Spring Break in March to check out a few areas and start planning, but a solid plan has to be in affect by June after I graduate and take the state nusing exam. We just don't know where to begin or how to go about starting. Any advice would be of great help!
I would highly recommend the Winston-Salem Area as it is home to Boman Grey School of Medicine / Baptist Hospital and Forsyth Hospitals.
Thanks. Brent Jones
