Looking for any insight on the best public and private schools in the Fayetteville, NC or Cumberland County, NC area. Looking to relocate to the area that supports the best elementary and middle schools.

Top 3 elementary schools are in the Cape Fear District--District 7, Eastover, & Beaver Dam. Cape Fear is listed in the US News & World Report as a top high school in the nation.

Call Fayetteville Academy (K-12) 910-868-5131 My son graduated from there in 2010 and went to NC State and is doing very well. Fay Acad is the best school in the area.

Alternate schools could be Village Christian and Fayetteville Christian.

I would avoid public schools if possible but Terry Sanford and Jack Britt high schools are probably the best of lot. Don't know much about elementary and middle schools.

Check the stats yourself. I chose Gallberry Farms Elementary and Grays Creek Middle/High for my family.
