The U.S. Supreme Court has refused to temporarily set aside a Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals' ruling that overturned North Carolina's voter ID requirement for November.
Not too surprising. I think I mentioned in a similar thread that the Supremes are loath to tweek voting laws prior to an election. Never the less, it's a good thing and when Cooper takes over this fall it might be put to rest.
I don't understand how Patty could think someone would get confused with stricter voting laws. So you show up to vote and show an ID. They say you don't need it. Now go vote.
It is a victory for those that haven't taken the time to get ID!
