I just love Asheville. Biltmore House, Blue Ridge Parkway, Mt. Mitchell, craft-brewery scene, and a lively downtown. It is a great city for picture taking. If you are an out-doors person, there is a lot to do. The area has some great rivers for rafting too. If you want to get a great meal, there are so many great eateries in the downtown section.

I can't speak for Greenville, SC. I have been there, but that's about it.

Wow, sounds like a nice trip. Nashville is a really fun place. Be sure to hit Broadway

My family has had it with Asheville, due to crime, hippies, drugs. Any one feel the same?

I don't. But if you go the Western NC forum you'll find lots of people who do.

schill I don't feel the same about crime but then some people manage to live in a high crime areas while others tend to worry about everything .

bmw335xi Visit chamber of commerce sites for each city your interested in to see what my peak your interest , where to stay and charge and pick your spots accordingly . All these city's on your list can probably fill your needs a wants .

I'm the small town visitor so my interest differ greatly and charging stations are fewer to none ! Good luck

I’ve been to Asheville. I didn’t see any high crime area. I liked my stay of a week. Would plan another trip next year!

My daughter has lived there 10 years. not so bad in the Riceville area , but downtown is another story. The projects were forbidden from using fireworks in their parking lot this summer, so they came 2 blocks to her neighborhood, and lit off extreme fireworks all night, coming on her property and front porch. She was also beat up and robbed on her walk home from downtown. Her kids were always being offered drugs. When the river floods, in the Biltomre area, almost yearly, there is no place for the traffic to go, especially with those tall condo's along the river area. People uptown walking around half naked in their 70s. with more showing than I felt comfortable seeing. Apartments advertising for pot friendly tenants. Housing costs twice as high as local cities 50 miles out. I do not have the crime stats and would welcome anyone to post them compared to other NC cities.
