Smile Faison, NC :)

Anyone have any information to share on Faison, NC? We've been looking on the internet, doing some research and have accepted a counter offer for a house there. It sure seems like a lovely, sleepy little town, just what we're looking for in a town to settle into. There's not a whole lot on the internet, so I thought I'd ask here!

We're moving to NC from CT after a couple of years of praying about it and realizing we need to be where there is more open space and fewer people. Being able to run year round is important to me, too. Oh, and I never want to shovel snow again!

Thanks so much for your help!

Peace, Sherry

Well, you're right. There isn't much there. But Hwy 40 E is right around the corner to larger towns. I think they do pickles there as well as Mt. Olive. It is very small but it seems to be a friendly county. I am not sure if it is in Wayne or Duplin County but I am pretty sure it is in Duplin County. If you're looking for a slower paced life, I think you found it. Watch "Doc Hollywood" with Michael J. Fox and that should give you an idea of where you're going.
