found it kind of odd, especially where it will go ( Robbins ) but best to them and hope it gives Robbins a boost like it could def. use.
Could see this MAYBE doing well in Raleigh or Charlotte .
Maybe they're trying to be centrally located in the state. I am not sure I see the appeal of having an expensive vehicle stored miles away, but perhaps that type of hobby is above my pay grade.
The concept reminds me of Lime Rock Race Track in northwest Connecticut. They have a racetrack which can be rented by people who want to let their Maserati run at the speed it was designed for. The track generates a lot of noise, so it needs to have enough space to buffer the noise. Lime Rock has an owners' club, so perhaps a condo concept would work. The land closer to Raleigh or Charlotte is just too expensive for several hundred acres to be dedicated to this kind of use.
Lime Rock also has driving school weekends where folks can learn to drive like the pros.
