What are prices of property and modular homes. Ga has 2 acres and doublewides for sale in Mitchell Ga for about 65,000. Could I find such a deal in NC anywhere.

Default you maybe to late

about a year ago you could have but now with all the halfbackers (new yorkers that move to FL and hate it and move halfway back) to NC have bosted the real estate market for homes it hard to find a deal, they are here if you look hard but what you have seen in ga thats not likly. be careful with the location of properties in ga just like greenville sc the winds that blow the polution from atlanta have effects on quality of life. good luck

Modular homes are not the same as doublewides!!!!
For anyone interested, please read the thread regarding modular homes on the South Carolina board

To answer this posters question, if you were to find a deal like the one you mentioned in GA, it would only be most likely in rural areas of NC where job prospects would be less available.

I just ran a search for trailers in the Triad area under $100,000 on a minimum of 2 acres, there were 44 of them and many of them were doubles most were between 60-80 thousand.
