Default Community College

This may be kind of a strange question ... but how do the college prep classes work in NC?

Say you take all of your prep classes ... is that it? or is there a "state exit exam" like Florida?

Thank you so much for taking time to look at this ... I am living in Florida and looking to possibly go to school in NC.

could you clarify a little bit. Do you mean the college prep classes offered in HS?

Exit into what field?

This is a great source for you.

Ok .. I am currently in community college here in Florida. In 2004 I graduated HS... I had good grades in HS but, when I went to the college to take the CPT (often known as COMPASS in NC) They said I needed remedial math classes.

In Florida there is MATV0012 and MATV0024.. at the end of 0024 you are required to take a "State Exit Exam" which is held in a big auditorium and its all "serious" with all the other classes.... I was wondering if NC had that requirement also ... or if it was just a take the class, take a little exam at the end and you are done.
