Standard is 10% deduction. You can though make an adjustment on this and put whatever percentage you want taken out. I might go half way and only have 5% taken out and just deal with the tax man next year.

Someone told me though(not sure how true this is) that Obama may pass a low to no longer TAX UNEMPLOYMENT considering the circumstances it shouldnt be taxed.

We will see

NY is $405 per week, I was laid off last year and moved to NC after I got laid off. I now have a job...but if i were to lose my job, you're saying I couldn't get unemployment through NC???? How long do you need to work in NC before being able to qualify for unemployment?

If you want an estimate of how much unemployment you could receive from NC you just need to go to the website and put in your information. It will tell you.

It's not about how much I'll receive its a question of how long do you need to be working at your job (first job in NC) before being able to be eligible for unemployment. Anyone know this?
