We are considering moving to Walnut Grove, NC and would like to know about the health care available in the area. Where could I find a list of doctors, hospitals etc.
Are you talking about Walnut Grove, a tiny township in Wilkes County that's not on hardly any state maps....or Walnut Cove, a small town in southern Stokes County that's not far from Winston-Salem??
If the first one, you're pretty much gonna have to go to Wilkesboro or North Wilkesboro for any medical services, I would guess. (You'd probably have to go there for anything...the info I've found shows Walnut Grove has like barely a thousand people.)
If the second one, you'd probably go to Winston for major medical stuff (hospitals, specialists), but I'd imagine Walnut Cove has at least one general practice doctor or so...it's in a growing area.
