Jacksonville is the best city in the U.S. to find a job, according to Forbes magazine.
The city is recovering quickly from the recession because the presence of Camp Lejeune kept it from falling too far.
Hickory was rated 389th among 397 cities.

J-vegas won something?! Awhaaaaaat? Ok, so what un-mentionable acts did they have to perform to Forbes to get that? lol Sure there are "jobs" here but they usually involve serving/cleaning tables, Walmart, swinging around a poll, Walmart and swindling dumb boot marines outa money.
Jacksonville is generally considered the "armpit" of North Carolina, so it's not so surprising that there was job openings there. Military towns are not known for their quality of life, especially for non-military folks.
According to Cosmo, Jacksonville is also one of the best places to meet men. So if you're an unemployed single female, i guess Jacksonville is the place for you.
