Does anyone know anywhere to take a short weekend get away in North Dakota? Like a cabin or something? I want to go somewhere and was wondering if there is a cabin or some kind of bed and breakfast or something anywhere? Thanks!

Here is a list of ND bed and breakfast places....I have never stayed at one so cant help you. But maybe you can read about a place to see if it is what you were thinking.

North Dakota Bed & Breakfast Association - - Bed & Breakfast Inns ONLINE - Travel * Lodging * Bed and Breakfast * Country Inns / Introduction

A bit farther driving distance is the city of Winnipeg and I would highly suggest it as a place to get a way for a 3 day weekend. It would be about a 7 hour drive or so from Minot, but worth it. You can walk around the French section St Boniface and visit the Forks with its many different restaurants and ethnic foods. My wife and I do this occasonally and stay at the Fort Garry hotel downtown, which is quite nice and historical. Just a suggestion.

Yeah I just went to Winnipeg with some friends of mine but my husband has never been. I loved it, definitely made coming back to Minot difficult lol. I think Fort Garry is probably a little out of our price range for a 3 day weekend but I might check into Winnipeg. I did not look around the French section that would be nice to do. Thanks for the info.

Default Rapid City

Lots of vacation stuff/cabins in the Black Hills. Booked a ski trip over MLK weekend yesterday.

Black Hills refer to the hills (almost mountains really) just west of Rapid City SD. Includes Sturgis....Leadwood....Mt Rushmore. A little drive away but certainly a nice place for outdoorsy fun.
